Hill St. (which connects South Tryon St. to I-277 near the Charlotte Observer building) will be closed between South Tryon St., Church St., and the John Belk Freeway ramp beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, September 6th through 9 a.m. on Friday, September 7th. Most other nearby streets, including the John Belk Freeway, will be closed for the Democratic National Convention.
From Tryon St., use 4th St. to Johnson & Wales Way to Trade St. (left) to I-77 South as an alternate route to I-227 and Wilkinson Blvd.
