Inbound Independence Blvd. will be reduced to just one lane between Matthews Township Parkway/NC 51 and Harris Blvd. from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. on Sunday. Major delays are expected as contractors repave Independence Blvd. Use Monroe Rd. or Idlewild Rd. as alternate routes between Highway 51 and southeast Charlotte.
