For over 25 years, WSOC-TV and the partners of 9 Family Focus have rewarded exceptional community service through the 9 Who Care awards program.

We invited viewers in each of the 22 counties in our market to nominate individuals, groups, or businesses who provided outstanding volunteer service. From these nominees, judges select nine winners for the 9 Who Care awards.

Winners were announced at the 9 Who Care awards luncheon on Sept. 10 at The Speedway Club, Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

Channel 9 anchor Vince Coakley and our special guest speaker Michael Waltrip honored this year’s winners.
