ROME —
Right now, much of Europe is experiencing extremely cold weather and many countries are covered in snow.
Some have not seen this much snow in decades. It is truly a rare sight in Rome. Snow is covering the streets and its famous landmarks.
This is Rome's biggest snowstorm since 1986, and in France the iconic Eiffel tower is covered in white.
Crews are working to make travel safer by throwing salt and sand on the ice.
