Police: Duffel bags cleared after bomb scare at Walmart

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Rock Hill police were investigating after two duffel bags were found at Walmart.

The call came in Thursday afternoon at the Walmart on Dave Lyle Boulevard. The bags were found by shopping carts in the store.

Police said the bomb squad was called, but the duffel bags were checked and found to be non-explosive.

A car fire was also reported in the Walmart parking lot, but was not linked to the bomb scare.
