• Police investigating teen fight video uploaded to YouTube

    GASTON COUNTY, N.C.,None - Police in Gaston County are investigating a fight video put on popular social video website YouTube that depicts two teen girls fighting while dozens of other teens watch and record the fight on their cell phones.

    Investigators said Friday afternoon they were very concerned about the violence in the video.

    In the video, two girls approach each other and start throwing punches. One girl throws the other to the ground and they begin kicking each other. The entire clip lasts about two minutes.

    Eyewitness News has a copy of the video and is working to clean it up.

    According to police, the fight started at a Gaston County school, but a school resource officer dispersed the group before police officers responded. Then the students moved to an apartment complex where the fight started again, police said.

    Police said the fight may have been organized through social media sites.

    Investigators are expected to release a statement about the video sometime Friday afternoon.

    The video was deleted from YouTube early Friday morning.
