Cornelius mayor-elect to be sworn in Monday

DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Cornelius mayor-elect will be sworn in on Monday at the Cornelius Town Board Meeting.

Incoming Mayor Chuck Travis as well as elected commissioners will take their oaths to begin their new jobs.

Outgoing elected officials will also be honored.

It is being held at the town hall on Catawba Avenue starting at 7 p.m.
