'Charmed, blessed individual': Chancellor Lee Adams making strides ahead of father's release

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chancellor Lee Adams is a living example of triumph over tragedy. The 18-year-old was born with cerebral palsy after his father, former Carolina Panther Rae Carruth, orchestrated the murder of his mother, Cherica Adams in 1999.
