Updated:HARRISBURG, N.C. —
Residents of Harrisburg can weigh in on a proposed new shopping center Monday night.
A developer wants to tear down the Harrisburg public warehouse on University City Boulevard to build the shops. They would include a grocery store, a couple restaurants and up to 12 other stores.
The town would have to re-zone that area and the shops would open after the Caldwell Road bridge construction is finished.
The public hearing is at town hall at 7 p.m.
