SC DMV will offer some suspended drivers second chance

SOUTH CAROLINA — South Carolina's Department of Motor Vehicles is offering some suspended drivers a second chance.

From March 10 through 14, the agency is allowing drivers who qualify a chance to reduce or clear their suspensions.

Drivers whose licenses were suspended for alcohol or drug offenses are not eligible.

They will have to pay any fees that are owed, and some may have to take tests to get back on the road.
