Updated:LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) - A man has died after being shot and wounded on the porch of a home in South Carolina.
Local media outlets report that 29-year-old Joel McLemore of Lancaster died after he was taken to a Charlotte, North Carolina, hospital after the Sept. 27 shooting.
The State Law Enforcement Division has charged Demarcus Obrien Foster with attempted murder in the shooting of McLemore. There was no immediate word on upgrading the charges against Foster.
Two other people have been charged with helping Foster leave the scene. Maryam Y. Rivera and Quinterious Raquon Truesdale are charged as accessories after a felony.
SLED spokeswoman Kathryn Richardson said all three were denied bond.
It was not known if the three suspects have attorneys yet.
