John Wall Headed To Kentucky

RALEIGH, N.C. —

SLAM Magazine is reporting that the nation’s top high school point guard, John Wall, from Raleigh has chosen Kentucky to play college basketball for coach John Calipari.

Wall picked the Wildcats over Duke, Miami and Florida among other schools.

Wall is a 6’4” point guard from Word of God in Raleigh, N.C. and originally was recruited by John Calipari at Memphis but when Coach Cal headed to Kentucky, Wall decided to follow him to Lexington.

With forward Patrick Patterson, Jodie Meeks, recruits like Alabama big man DeMarcus Cousins and now Wall, Kentucky should be one of the favorites to win the National Championship in 2010.
