SANTA CLARA, Cali. — The Carolina Panthers end zone at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara is finally set, after grounds crews accidentally painted two Denver Broncos end zones earlier in the week.
The grounds crew in Santa Clara, Calif., had a simple job, paint one end zone for the Broncos and one for the Panthers.
A CBS photographer said the mistake happened Monday.
The grounds crew painted the Broncos end zone on the visitor side, but Denver has been designated as the home team, leading the crew to move quickly to fix their mistake.
In a photo, a faint Broncos logo can be seen, but crews painted over it and finished the Panthers logo Thursday.
