CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For those who have major plans for the weekend can still keep them on their daily calendars without the weather being a major issue.
Channel 9 Meteorologist Steve Udelson said there is no chance for major storms or fronts, but the weather will still be unsettled.
They are detecting plenty of clouds and off and on rain chances, but said the rain will not be heavy or turn into strong storms.
Those in the mountains can expect to see the highest volumes with 70 percent to 80 percent rain chances, while the Charlotte Metro area will only have 40-50 percent chances of rain.
Temperatures for the weekend will remain below the average even when the rain dries out next week. Temperatures may climb back into the 90s again sometime next week.
