BET Awards 2019: What time, what channel, who is nominated, performing

LOS ANGELES — Some of the biggest artists in rap, hip-hop and R&B, movies and TV will be at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday.

Cardi B, Migos, Lena Waithe, Morris Chestnut and DJ Khaled are among those scheduled to be at the show at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Here’s what you need to know before the show:

What time: 8 p.m. ET

What channel: BET, with live simulcasts across BET Her, MTV, MTV 2, MTV Classic, VH1 and Logo.

Who is hosting: Actor and comedian Regina Hall

Who is performing: Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus will likely perform their hit "Old Town Road." Cardi B is opening the show and DJ Khaled, Lil Baby, City Girls and Migos are also set to perform.

Who is presenting: Taraji P. Henson, Lena Waithe, Morris Chestnut, Yara Shahidi and Marsai Martin have been announced as presenters.

Who is nominated: Mary J. Blige will be honored with a lifetime achievement award. The late Nipsey Hussle will be honored posthumously with a humanitarian award. Nominees for each category, including special honors, are below.
