According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Robert Nathan Salwin, 44, of Marathon, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of misuse of 911, the Miami Herald reported. Salwin remained in the Marathon jail without bond.

According to Sheriff's Office spokesman Adam Linhardt, what Salwin allegedly said in the four 911 calls he made were too offensive to be included in a news release, the Herald reported.

“Salwin could be heard on the recordings stating vulgar things too graphic to repeat about deputies who had been attempting to assist him,” Linhardt said.

Linhardt said dispatchers played the recordings back to deputies, who tracked Salwin down and arrested him in Marathon, WPLG reported.

"Salwin is well-known to law enforcement for frequent alcohol-related encounters with deputies," Linhardt told the Herald.
