For fans of the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," the month of December will be the best of both worlds.
Those who enjoyed the dual-life antics of the pop star played by Miley Cyrus from 2006 to 2011 will be able to watch the show again as the Disney Channel announced a marathon showing of the series. The show will air from Dec. 3-29, the Disney Channel announced in a tweet.
Those who recall the series will remember that typical teenager Miley Stewart led a secret double life — as singing star Hannah Montana. Only her best friend Lilly (Emily Osment), her scheming older brother Jackson (Jason Earles) and father/songwriter/manager Robby Ray (Billy Ray Cyrus) know her secret. The series was a hit for the Disney Channel.
Cyrus ditched the Hannah Montana image after the show ended, stirring her share of controversy in the process by adopting a more mature — and at times risqué — persona. But for four weeks in December, the Disney diva will return as a sweet pop star.
So chill it out, take it slow — then you rock out the show.
