NEW YORK — The “Live! with Kelly and Michael” audience was not happy with something that Kelly Ripa said Tuesday morning.

After walking out onstage with Michael Strahan, Ripa reminded the audience that his last show will be on May 13, instead of sometime in September, as originally announced.

"A week from this Friday is Michael's final show here at 'Live!'," Ripa said, and the audience responded with nearly 10 seconds of booing.

"We still love you, Kelly!" someone in the audience yelled.

"Thanks. I am still here," she said, looking bewildered.

Ripa, who has been on "Live!" since 2001, said that after the announcement of Strahan's transition, she was "assured" by "Live!"'s parent company, Disney/ABC Television Group, that the show is a priority.

She spent days away from the show after the initial announcement of his departure, which she learned about on the same day as the public.

Though reports said she was "livid" when she first found out, she later said that she was "thrilled" for Strahan.

She turned to Strahan on Tuesday, saying: "We’ll remember. We’ll reminisce. We’re going to look back at the fun times we’ve had together. Wait till you see all the stuff that we’ve done, you’re not going to believe it."

Ripa then turned back to the audience to give them a few more details about Strahan's upcoming farewell show.

"So join us for Michael's Flashback Friday Farewell on Friday the 13th," she said, then realized the superstitious date. "You can't plan this! You literally cannot plan it!"

"You would think 13 is my lucky number!" Strahan joked.

There's no word on who will replace Strahan long-term, but Jimmy Kimmel will co-host with Ripa on May 16, Strahan's first day away.
