Man gets prison time for sucker punching stranger with cerebral palsy

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — A man who aped, then sucker punched, a man with cerebral palsy in a convenience store parking lot was sentenced to prison Wednesday.

Surveillance video shows Barry Baker Jr. mocking a 22-year-old man with cerebral palsy as he walks in and out of a 7-Eleven convenience store. When the man walks out Baker walks over to him and punches him in the face.

The man doubles over onto his SUV as Baker casually walks away.

Baker was arrested and charged with assault. Once out on bail, Baker fled, leading police on a two-week manhunt.

Baker was sentenced to three to six years in prison for simple assault and related crimes, according to WPVI.
