Non-profit invents cup that could help newborn babies

SEATTLE — A simple invention from a local non-profit could help hundreds of thousands of newborn babies in third world countries.

The Seattle-based non-profit PATH, is ready to bring the "Nifty Cup" to market.

The cup is designed for children who are not able to breastfeed.

The design, allows babies to lap or sip the milk at their own pace.

The cup is a collaborative project bringing together, PATH, the University of Washington and Seattle Children's.
