Prince William comforted a grieving teen who lost his mom to cancer by remembering Princess Diana.
Next week will mark 19 years since the tragic death of Princess Diana.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were visiting Keech Hospice Care in Luton when Ben Hines shared with him that his mother passed away. Prince William patted the 14-year-old on the shoulder and reassured him that the pain of loss gets easier with time.
“I know how you feel. I still miss my mother every day and it’s been 20 years,” said Prince William is a video clip shared on Twitter. “The important thing is to talk about it as a family. It’s OK to feel sad. It’s OK for you to miss her.”
