The graffiti and damage was scattered all around the back side of the school, marked with derogatory words unfit for TV alongside swastikas, Trump, KKK and what appeared to be Klan hoods.

“It's disgusting,” student Brian Diaconu told WSB. “That's not right, it shouldn't even be there."

The Atlanta Journal-Constitiution reported that principal Kerensa Wing said in an email to parents that she was not happy about the vandalism and racist graffiti but "not disheartened."

"As we continue our Thanksgiving break," Wing wrote, "I am not disheartened by this incident as I know that this type of behavior does not define our school community and for that I give thanks."

Damage was also reported in the football stadium. By mid-day, most of the graffiti was covered up or washed away.

The damage was first noticed early Tuesday morning by a group of students leaving for a wrestling tournament.

Softball coach Amy Dickey told WSB the perpetrator is a "coward."

"It's frustrating to see these kids doing stupid things, you know," she said. "We've got such a great community around here."
