CHARLOTTE - A slow warm up will have the viewing area close to 70 degrees this week.
Saturday night will be on the chilly side as lows will be in the middle 20s. Charlotte will warm up to the 50s tomorrow and will reach the 60s by Tuesday.
As the air gets warmer there could be more cloud cover and a few rain showers are expected Tuesday.
Charlotte could approach 70 degrees by the end of the week. It looks like a cold front could come through, creating strong thunderstorms Friday into Saturday. Like the WSOC-TV weather page for continuous updates.
