Warmer temperatures moving into Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — After a cold start to Wednesday, the Charlotte area warmed up to around 50 degrees.

Wednesday evening will be chilly. Freeze warnings are in effect for the Charlotte area Wednesday night, as temperatures will be in the upper 20s.

Warmer temperatures are heading our way, as it will be near 60 degrees Thursday and in the 60s or 70s into early next week. There will be cloud cover and showers on Friday and Saturday. When the rain leaves temperatures will not drop.
