None — HOWARD STERN TO AMERICAN IDOL

The rumors about Howard Stern replacing Simon Cowell as a judge on American Idol are no longer just rumors.

The New York Post ran a story last week saying that the King of All Media is the show's producers top choice to replace Cowell after this season -- CLICK HERE.

American Idol is one of the few shows that could compete with Stern's $100 million a year contract with Sirius Radio and Idol bosses think he would be nastier than Simon.

Stern joked on his show this week about the rumors, "For $100 million a year, to judge a karaoke contest? Ok. Why not?" he said.

He also proved how nasty he could be saying that he would "tase" Ellen DeGeneres if she does that "dumb dance" she does on her show, and "smack Randy Jackson's belly every time he opens his dopey mouth."

Current American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi is less than thrilled about the idea of Stern becoming the new judge. In a press conference Wednesday she said "I don't think he has a musical background or any kind of music... um... anything. If you are going to replace Simon, you have to have that background. Someone who knows about signing great artists and being a part of their career from the very beginning like (Simon) has done."

If the rumors become reality, I do know one thing ... people will be watching!

BROOKLYN UNCOVERED

As you probably know already, Matthews native Brooklyn Decker landed the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover earlier this week.

(View a HUGE version of the cover RIGHT HERE)

We did a little digging and found that Brooklyn was born in Kettering, Ohio and her family moved to Matthews when she was a teenager.

Decker's parents bought this (pictured right) 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with 2,164 square feet, for $197,500.

Decker attended Butler High School where she ran track and was on the cheerleading team.

Both her parents are in the medical field, which explains her early childhood dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian. "That's because my parents are big animal lovers," she explains. "We have four dogs and a cat."

Her dreams quickly were interrupted when she was discovered at a local mall by talent scouts at age 16 and she signed her first modeling deal with Charlotte-based agency Evolution Models.

She landed her first gig in 2002, as the face of prom dress designer Mauri Simone.

Decker moved to New York City in 2005 at the age of 18 and within a month was modeling for Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret.

Five years later, Decker grabs the SI cover!

To grace the cover of SI's Swimsuit issue is a huge deal in the world of modeling and Brooklyn described the joy of hearing the news on Letterman as "I feel like Drew Brees right now."

I wonder if Drew Brees feels like a cover model?

Here's Brooklyn on Letterman from this week and check out a SLIDESHOW of Brooklyn RIGHT HERE.

DREW BREES TAKES OVER NOLA

When you are a Super Bowl MVP you can walk into a bar and grab the mic and lead the whole establishment in a chant.

That's exactly what Drew Brees did at Lucy's bar in New Orleans the other night, teaching all the patrons to chant the Saints' battle cry.

Who dat?

CRAZY WEATHERMAN VIDEO

With all the snow and wintry weather I thought this video was appropriate for the moment.

This video of Meteorologist Jim Kosik was shot last week when the snow started to fall in the Baltimore area.

Jim expresses his anger and disgust towards the cold weather in a hilariously disturbing way.
