CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Temperatures were bitterly cold Wednesday morning, sitting near freezing in most areas.
Even though the region will see a ton of sunshine Wednesday, a breezy northeast wind will keep the temps down in the upper 50s.
Wednesday night will bring another threat for freezing temperatures in the low 30s across most of the area -- a freeze warning will likely be issued again.
The weather will slowly warm heading toward the holiday weekend, with temps by Easter in the mid-70s.
