Updated:MORGANTON, N.C.,None - A woman accused of driving under the influence during a crash that killed a father and son appeared before a judge Monday morning in Morganton.
Amie Skeens is charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Brent and Kevin Moody. The Highway Patrol said Skeens crossed the center line and hit them head-on in Burke County in October.
Skeens asked the judge Monday if she could have her bond reduced.
The judge told Skeens she would have a bond hearing during another court date and set her probable cause hearing for Nov. 28.
