Dallas, TX -- (Sports Network) - T.J. Hensick and Ryan Smyth each tallied a goal and an assist to lead the Colorado Avalanche to a 4-2 win over the Dallas Stars in preseason play.

Brian Willsie and Matt Hendricks also scored a goal apiece for the Avs, with Hendricks' being an empty-netter. Andrew Raycroft and Peter Budaj each allowed one score in net, while combining to make 24 saves.

Brenden Morrow and Mike Ribeiro had a goal and an assist apiece for the Stars. Marty Turco allowed two goals on just 13 shots, while Matt Climie made five saves for Dallas.
