Chicago, IL -- (Sports Network) - Jonathan Toews had two goals and an assist to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars in preseason action at the United Center.

Patrick Sharp and Jack Skille also scored for Chicago, which missed the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season in 2007-08. Antti Niemi turned away 28-of-31 shots that he faced in the victory.

Matt Niskanen, Loui Eriksson and Joel Lundqvist all recorded goals for the Stars, who were beaten in the Western Conference finals by eventual champion Detroit last season. Tobias Stephan allowed four goals on 28 shots in defeat.
