The Charlotte Convention Center opened 1995, and now welcomes over half a million visitors to its facility each year.

With a sprawling exhibition space of 280,000 square feet, the Charlotte Convention Center is the idea venue for large-scale events such as conventions, tradeshows, banquets and theater style conferences. Indeed, the Charlotte Convention Center schedule boasts a constant and diverse stream of these large-scale events; everything from medical and science conventions to boat shows and cheerleading events. What is more, when the occasion calls for it, that 280,000 sq. ft. exhibition space can be divided into four separate halls to facilitate multiple shows happening simultaneously.

The Charlotte Convention Center also features a ballroom venue, measuring out at 35,000 square feet - room enough to accommodate 1,800 guests. This space is fully equipped with a built-in stage, and state-of-the-art audio and lighting technology.
