Weekend Forecast

The weather this weekend looks pretty good. There is a slight chance for showers but don't let that stop you. There are three great shows out at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, so if it's LIVE music that you are craving then head on out.

Friday it's Brad Paisley with special guests Jewel, Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough. Now Brad Paisley is a big star but seeing Julianne Hough may be worth the price of admission alone ... see right ---->

Saturday night features Bryan Adams & Foreignerand Sunday Rush takes the stage.

Also Friday at Amos' SouthEnd check out a Georgia native and up-and-coming country slash rock slash blues artist, Cory Smith.

But don't forget what everybody has been waiting for, 'The Dark Knight' comes out on the big screen. Here are a couple more ideas for your weekend.

Friday: Laugh 'Till You Cry

  • Get out to Pineville on Friday night to see "The Funniest Man In America," at the Pineville Dinner Theater. James Gregory takes his comedy act on the road and makes a stop in the Queen City. He can be heard weekly in Charlotte on The Bob & Tom Show and The John Boy and Billy Show.
