One of the most popular neighborhood bars in Charlotte recently made Esquire Magazine's 'Best Bars In America' list.

The comfortable friendly pub located in the Plaza-Midwood neighborhood is a Charlotte hot spot for the diverse, friendly crowd. The tavern is located directly across from the Penguin on appropriately named, Thomas Ave.

The inside has plenty of tables decorated with old wooden chairs, a pool table, foosball table and several TVs so you can catch all the action.

The back patio is where the 'beer garden' can be found. This area features a full service bar and a very roomy relaxed patio area with free wi-fi service.

But the best part about the 'garden' is the two ping-pong tables just off the bar area where you can put a serious beat-down on your friends.
