At Charlotte's Healthy Living Fair, people have the opportunity to meet and talk with healthcare professionals in an informal and casual setting. With Presbyterian Hospital as the presenting sponsor of this event, people can receive free health screenings, enjoy interactive health exhibits and receive important information on disease prevention and awareness. Presbyterian Hospital is committed to helping people become smarter when it comes to their health - at this year's fair, Presbyterian Hospital will be teaching people ways to live a healthier and happier life.

"Blood pressure readings and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations conducted by Presbyterian Urgent Care plus fun and interactive activities for children.
"Bone-density heel scan for adults 40+ to check if you're at risk for osteoporosis conducted by the Presbyterian Women's Center and Presbyterian Osteoporosis Center. Also receive valuable information on healthy eating for healthy bones plus helpful tips on baby care and safety.
"Blood glucose screenings to test for diabetes conducted by the Presbyterian Diabetes Resource Center with important tips on prevention and awareness.
"Mini-mental exams conducted by Presbyterian Neurology Center.
"Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations conducted by Presbyterian Bariatric Center plus an opportunity to talk with previous patients about their surgical weight loss experiences.
"Sleep quiz conducted by Presbyterian Sleep Medicine to screen for sleep disorders.

"Learn how to prevent a stroke and recognize the warning signs and symptoms from Presbyterian Stroke Center.
"Test your skills with the "Slime-O-Rama" computer game or try out a fun floor game to learn about Sickle Cell presented by the Presbyterian Sickle Cell Program.
"Discover what's new in medical technology and see the telescale demonstration - a new technological scale that transmits data to the Presbyterian Heart Failure Clinic from a person's home.
"Enjoy interactive children's activities for kids of all ages - arts & crafts, infant massage, obstacle course, a medical play table, the Danger Rangers and Dr. Getwell - plus explore the Bobcat Critical Care Transport - presented by Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital.
"A private nursing station, baby weighing station and a bra fitting expert - plus a retail store for purchasing breast pumps, bras, baby clothes, books, and more - presented by the Presbyterian Nursing Mother's Place.
"Need health information? Learn how to search for medical information online and get answers to your medical questions - presented by Presbyterian Health Libraries.
"Take a grocery store tour…purchase heart-healthy cookbooks…get answers to your questions on exercise and nutritious foods and discover ways to reduce your blood pressure and cholesterol by visiting Presbyterian Cardiovascular Institute/Center for Preventive Cardiology.
"Find out all the services are available at Presbyterian Hospital Matthews and Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville including education on hand hygiene as well as "spirometry screenings".
"Have your child bring in a beloved Teddy Bear that might need some medical attention - Presbyterian Children's Emergency Department can fix that "boo boo" with an ace bandage or a band-aid.
"Participate in games and quizzes and learn more about cancer and its prevention.
