Free tickets required for Panthers Fanfest in August

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers will make their first appearance at Bank of America Stadium since winning the NFC championship, when they take the field at Fan Fest presented by Lowe’s on Aug. 5.

Admission is free and a reserved ticket will be required for entry. Because of overwhelming demand last year and general precautions for fan safety, all patrons must have a ticket to attend the event.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10 a.m. Friday by clicking "Fan Fest Tickets" in Hot Topics on the homepage of Panthers.com or by choosing "Fan Fest" in the Tickets drop-down menu.

Fans in attendance will receive a 2016 team roster photo card with a 2016 schedule, as well as a gate giveaway.

Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. with performances by the TopCats, Sir Purr, PurrCussion and Black & Blue Crew. Practice begins at 7:30 p.m. and will include individual drills as well as seven-on-seven, special teams and team periods.

The event will be capped with a concert by Sol Fusion, fireworks and laser show.

Transparent, plastic, vinyl or PVC bags smaller than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches will be allowed into the stadium after inspection.
