CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Hornets released their playoff schedule after finishing the regular season as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference -- their second playoff appearance in the last three years.
They'll play the first two games in Miami against the No. 3 seed Heat.
Game 3 of the best-of-seven series will be Saturday, April 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena and Game 4 will be on Monday, April 25.
The Hornets finished the regular season with a record of 48-34, in a three-way tie for first place in the Southeast Division and a four-way tie for third place in the Eastern Conference. The team’s 48 wins is the fifth-best single-season total in Charlotte NBA history and the most since going 49-33 in 1999-2000.
