The event is still free to Davidson residents, although those attending will need to wear their town-issued admission wristbands. Wristbands for residents can be picked up at the Davidson Town Hall front desk or Parks and Recreation Department, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., as well as at the Davidson Lands Conservancy tent at the Davidson Farmer's Market on June 28 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The event kicks off with a parade leaving from Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. The parade will arrive at McEver Field around 6 p.m., where Mayor John Woods will give the welcome speech and games and music will begin at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks are set to begin around 9:15 p.m. Call 704-892-3349 for more information about this event.
