WSOC-TV's Vince Coakley anchors Channel 9's "Eyewitness News" weeknights at 5:00, 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. with Debi Faubion.

Vince joined WSOC-TV as a general assignment reporter in 1992. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Vince began his career in broadcasting as a reporter for WLEX-TV Lexington, Kentucky. He later became a reporter and anchor for WKYT-TV, which is also in Lexington, Kentucky.

Vince received a B.A. in Broadcasting from Eastern Kentucky University. EKU also recognized Vince as an Distinguished Alumnus in 2005. Although he writes everyday on the job, Vince loves to write during his "off" time and is very active in his church. Vince, his wife Debbie, and their four children reside in Charlotte.
