Ron joined the Eyewitness News team in April of 2002 as the Salisbury Bureau Reporter. Covering the news from Concord, Kannapolis and Statesville. In addition to his reporting duties, Ron co-anchors Channel 9 Eyewitness News weekends Midday and Saturday Mornings.

Ron comes to Channel 9 from WCTI-TV-12 in New Bern, North Carolina where he served as Morning Anchor. He has extensive experience covering news up and down the east coast having worked at stations from New York City to Virginia.

Ron graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television. Ron also served four years with the United States Army National Guard where he received three promotions in three years.

In his free time, Ron enjoys running and playing tennis.
