SENIOR BROADCAST DESIGNER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

WSOC-TV Channel 9 has an immediate opening for the Senior Broadcast Designer. This full time position works closely with the Design Director to create and execute a variety of projects including animation, concept development, branded packages, logo design, print design, and web design. Candidate must have strong organizational and technical skills. The ability to generate and clearly communicate ideas from a design stand-point to many departments is key. Must be able to manage & prioritize time, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high quality design. Must set standards for other design staff and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Also needs to be self-motivated and a team player.

Other requirements:

3-5 years experience working in broadcast/production design with a solid resume and digital reel.

No VHS. Web link or DVD only.

BA/BFA in graphic design or equivalent degree.

Absolute proficiency in Adobe Aftereffects, Photoshop, & Illustrator. Deko, Curious Maps, 3D knowledge a great plus.
