NEWS PRODUCER

Candidate must be creative, a strong writer, able to handle breaking news, enterprise local news stories and have experience writing and posting to the web. TEMPORARY ACCTS RECEIVABLE/COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

A local media company is seeking a temporary Accounts Receivable/Collections specialist. This is a part-time position. The right candidate must have a minimum of three years experience coordinating all phases of credit, collections, billing and accounts receivable accounting. Media A/R experience and knowledge of OSI-Traffic is preferred.

This position will require a self-starter who can work independently, as well as be a team member, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.

DAYBREAK NEWS EDITOR (PART-TIME)

WSOC-TV is looking for a part-time editor who loves mornings, to assist with our daybreak newscasts. Must have some AVID or nonlinear experience and be able to work in high energy, fast paced newsroom. SENIOR BROADCAST DESIGNER

WSOC-TV, Channel 9, has an immediate opening for the Senior Broadcast Designer. This full time position works closely with the Design Director and the News Department to create and execute a variety of projects including animations, pre-production, news templates, graphic packages, logo design, print design and web design. Candidate must have strong organizational and technical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy is an absolute must. The ability to generate and clearly communicate ideas from a design stand-point to many departments is part of the job. Must be able to manage & prioritize time, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high quality design. Must set standards for other design staff and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A self-motivated candidate who can interact with multiple departments, commit to the product and act as a team player is essential.

Other requirements: 3-5 years experience working in broadcast news/production design with a solid resume and digital reel. BA/BFA in graphic design or equivalent degree. Advanced proficiency needed in Adobe Aftereffects, Photoshop, & Illustrator. Deko, Curious Maps, 3D knowledge a great plus.
