CREW Charlotte (Commercial Real Estate Women Charlotte) celebrates Uptown Charlotte's most savory restaurants as it takes its guests on a "dine around" the Center City, has guests bid for silent auction items, and raffles off several big ticket items! | Description: | The American Heart Association's Charlotte Metro Heart Walk presented by Harris Teeter and Nestle' Waters will raise funds to fight the nation's No. 1 and No. 3 killers, heart disease and stroke, by funding lifesaving research and community programs and education. In addition, to the 3-mile non-competitive walk, there will be plenty of fun activities for the children. |

| Description: | This September, nearly 2,300 cyclists and 1,000 volunteers will embark on a 150-mile journey to end the devastating effects of muliple sclerosis. Presented by Pfeiffer University and Wachovia, this two-day event invites cyclists to ride 150 miles to help raise money and awareness. Participants may choose to start from either Rockingham or Weddington, North Carolina or Camden, South Carolina. All cyclists gather at the finish line in North Myrtle Beach. |
