Weekend Sports Anchor Bill Voth came to Channel 9 Eyewitness News in August 2005.

Before moving to the Carolinas, Bill served as the weekend sports anchor at WRIC-TV in Richmond, VA.

He previously worked in Burlington, VT and WYFF in Greenville, SC.

Bill graduated cum laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He has a love for sports that he tries to convey through television.

Bill is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and a die hard Cleveland sports fan… still waiting for one of his teams to win a championship. Besides rooting for the Syracuse Orangemen, he’s a rabid follower of ACC sports.
