Tim Caputo joined Channel 9 Eyewitness News as a reporter in May of 2006. Before coming to the Charlotte area, Tim previously worked in both Roswell and Albuquerque New Mexico. If you're wondering, he did not see any aliens while in Roswell.

During his time in New Mexico, Tim earned several awards from the New Mexico Broadcaster's Association. He also covered several stories that gained national attention like the Runaway Bride, Jennifer Wilbanks, and more and a dozen visits by President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, John Kerry and John Edwards during the 2004 presidential election campaign.

Tim earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Tim is originally from Long Island, New York. Tim is thrilled to be living and working in Charlotte. You can find him at Bobcats and Panthers games and out and about enjoying fine restaurants in Uptown Charlotte.
