Jason joined Channel 9 Eyewitness News as a General Assignment Reporter in September 2006. Jason reports focus on Charlotte-Mecklenburg civic and government issues as well as the impact these have on the community.

He’s no stranger to North Carolina. He reported for three years with WRAL-TV in Raleigh. He has covered events in Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, and Pinehurst, following everything from putts to paratroopers! Before that, he reported news at WRCB-TV in Chattanooga and WDNN-TV in Dalton, Georgia. He also obtained a law degree from the University of Maryland and even draws his own courtroom sketches when cameras aren’t allowed.

He currently lives in Charlotte with his wife and daughter, the only two people who laugh at his jokes. He enjoys soccer, art, and movies… lots of movies!
