Stephanie joined the Eyewitness News team in September 2017.

She’s a Florida girl from Palm Beach County and proud alumna of the University of Florida’s College of Journalism & Communications. As much as she loves her home state, Stephanie is excited to call Charlotte her new home.

Before working for Channel 9, Stephanie served the Southwest Florida community as a reporter and fill-in anchor for FOX affiliate WFTX in Fort Myers. Stephanie also spent time reporting for WCJB-TV in Gainesville, Florida. At FOX 4, Stephanie traveled across the Sunshine State covering Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Presidential race. She has covered stories that have garnered national attention and worked as a one-person investigative unit digging deeper into issues affecting Southwest Florida.

Stephanie is an award-winning journalist who has been recognized and awarded for her reporting by the Associated Press.

When Stephanie isn’t working, you’ll likely find her outdoors exploring a new trail or reading a good book. However, her biggest passion is to end modern-day slavery by playing an active role in combating human trafficking of men, women, and children who deserve to experience the fullness of life.

Stephanie is always looking for solid tips and powerful stories to be a voice for YOU. Connect with her on Facebook, Twitter, or by sending her an e-mail at Stephanie.Tinoco@wsoc-tv.com
