TRYON ST. CLOSED NEAR STONEWALL ST.

- SOUTH TRYON ST. CLOSED BETWEEN 1st ST. AND STONEWALL ST.
- EXPECTED TO REOPEN MID-AFTERNOON
- CREWS REMOVING LAST TOWER CRANE FROM DUKE ENERGY TOWER SITE
South Tryon St. is CLOSED between 1st St. and Stonewall St. The road was supposed to reopen Sunday afternoon, but will now remain closed through mid-afternoon on Monday due to mechanical problems. Crews will be removing the last tower crane from the Duke Energy Tower construction site.
NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC should use College St. (bear right) to Martin Luther King Blvd. (left) as an alternate route into Uptown.
SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC should use Martin Luther King Blvd. (right) to Church St. (left) to Stonewall St. (left) as an alternate route.
