America's fascination with Presidential pets
Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney's dog is still hounding him.
The former governor's decision to put the family pet into a car top carrier for a trip to Canada thirty years ago, has been a gift to Democrats.
They've rolled out bumper stickers painting Romney as cruel at worst and foolish at best.
Republicans have counterattacked, saying in his book, President Obama admitted eating dog as a child.
Tom Foreman reports, it may all seem silly, but in D.C. strange things can happen when political animals start prowling.
