Daily Digit: Peugeot Deliveries Slump

16.5 percent is today's daily digit in Europe - the fall in vehicle deliveries at Peugeot Citroen. The troubled French automaker lost ground in its home market, largely thanks to a collapse in demand in southern Europe. It also withdrew from Iran, where it had sent car kits for assembly. The group's global sales volume dropped below 3 million in 2012 from more than 3.5 million a year earlier.
