'47 days with sharks': WWII soldiers struggle to survive at sea

‘Adrift: 47 Days With Sharks’ shows reenactments of three WWII soldiers surviving adrift in the Pacific Ocean after their plane crashed. Sharks circled, and then, a Japanese fighter plane. Two of the three men, Olympian Louie Zamperini and Russell Allen "Phil" Phillips, survived for 47 days in the ocean; they got water from a rainstorm. The other man passed away. But eventually Louis and Phil happened upon an island, though from there they were put into a Japanese POW camp.
