Sinkhole Fixed, Charlotte Road Back Open

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte City workers reopened a road in Myers Park that collapsed under a minivan.Crews finished paving Selwyn Avenue at Wellesley Road around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Crews spent the day repairing a leaky water main under the road.The leak washed way dirt and caused a sinkhole to form Tuesday across from Queens University.The road collapsed under the right front wheel of a minivan. The driver was not hurt.
