It will be slightly warmer Sunday with highs around 93 degrees with the heat index near 100 degrees. The humidity will stay low.

A few high clouds will return Monday for the eclipse, but viewing conditions still look good in Charlotte.

The next rain chance returns Wednesday as a front pushes through.

The front will bring very pleasant weather towards the end of next week highs drop to the upper 80s.

Tropical Storm Harvey is still moving west with no impact to the U.S.

The two other areas in the tropics don't look like they will develop into anything until maybe the middle of next week.
